Carole has remained with Freeman Johnson throughout her career, qualifying in 1994 and becoming a Partner in 1997.

She is one on the most experienced and respected family lawyers in the area specialising in divorce, financial settlements, both in divorce cases and following cohabitation. Carole has a sensitive but pragmatic approach and will advise about the different processes available and discuss which process may be most appropriate.
Carole is a regular and respected advocate in the North East courts.
Although based in Darlington, Carole has represented clients living not only across the UK but also living around the world in relation to UK family law.
Married with one daughter, grown up stepchildren and 4 beautiful grandchildren, Carole loves to spend time with her family. In her spare-time she likes to travel both abroad and also in the UK, particularly in the beautiful Northumbrian coast and loves walking and cycling.
